Former NBA center Zaza Pachulia would still like to flee his nest in Atlanta. The former Atlanta Hawks star has had his four-level home in the northern suburbs of the city on the market for over a year. It’s now being offered for $799,000.
The big man from the country of Georgia bought the home in October 2005 for nearly $700,000, shortly after inking a four-year, $16 million contract with the Hawks.
Built in 2002, the four-bedroom home measures in at 3,741 square feet. Located next to Interstate 85, it is about 7 miles north of State Farm Arena.
The handsome residence, in a gated community, has an open floor plan ideal for having friends and family over. Judging from the listing photos, it is in fine shape and sits ready (and empty!) for a new owner.
The large master suite on the third level has a spalike bathroom area. On the fourth level, there’s a large family room equipped with a wet bar, as well as a rooftop deck overlooking the adjacent Shady Valley Park.
The home originally landed on the market in March 2019, for $875,000. Last September, the price was cut to $825,000, before arriving at the current price point in October.
The Georgian-born center played in the NBA for 16 seasons and suited up for six different squads. He contributed valuable minutes off the bench for the Golden State Warriors in back-to-back championship seasons and has two rings to show for it.
In August last year, the Warriors brought Pachulia back into the fold as a basketball operations consultant.
The listing is represented by Kelly Boudreau with Harry Norman Realtors.
