Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed owns a Virginia mansion that offers an intriguing blend of the quaint and the luxurious. Now a buyer can score a big win—the sidelined tight end is ready to sell.

Reed’s 9,689-square-foot home in Leesburg, VA, is on the market for $2.7 million, and it combines the vibe of an old country home with the baller amenities one would expect from the home of an NFL player.

From the grand foyer that leads to a giant curved staircase and formidable chandelier, the luxury is apparent. The chef’s kitchen has a huge island, custom cabinets, a full array of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, a walk-in pantry, and direct access to a full wine cellar.

The master suite on the main level has its own fireplace, two walk-in closets, and a state-of-the-art aquarium. Down below are huge rooms set up for entertainment: a club room with bar, a gaming area, gym, and home theater.

Outside, there is a full resort terrace complete with saltwater pool. Your neighbor is the Creighton Farms Golf and Country Club, which ensures wide open and well-manicured views.

Reed began his football career at New London High School in Connecticut, where he played quarterback. After receiving an athletic scholarship, Reed went south to play for the Gators at the University of Florida.

Finding it difficult to break in as a QB, Reed switched to tight end and finally started to gain some traction. He decided to forgo his final year at Florida and entered the 2013 NFL draft, where he was selected in the third round by the Redskins.

Reed has played in Washington for his entire six-year career, but his NFL future is now up in the air. He recently landed on the injured reserve list, after a slow recovery from a concussion he suffered in the preseason. Speculation among NFL insiders is that Reed’s history of brain injuries might cut his pro career short.

His Virginia estate is listed by Lilian Jorgenson of Long & Foster McLean.
