Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker has placed his award-worthy Hollywood Hills home on the market again. Originally listed two years ago for $6 million, the two-home compound in Los Angeles is now being offered at a 28% discount—priced at $4.3 million.
Whitaker purchased this spacious property in 2003 for $1.5 million. Even with a price drop, he stands to come out ahead.
Built in 1998, the gated compound is perfect for a large family and features a total of 11 beds and 11 baths on 1.66 acres.
“Both homes on the compound were recently painted and staged. These changes helped highlight the grand scale and grounds that are perfect for entertaining,” says listing agent Michael Nourmand with Nourmand & Associates. “In addition, the price is significantly lower than the last time the property was on the market, so it’s a great value.”
