Defaulted loans, back taxes, and mounting legal issues could be behind the relisting of the mansion of Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul (aka P.K.), in Beverly Hills, CA, for $7.5 million.
It’s no secret that the couple, who appear on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” have been trying to unload the house. They first put it on the market for $12.75 million in July 2017, less than a year after paying $6,565,000 for the property.
In January 2018, the Kemsleys cut the price of the home to just under $11 million, saying they wanted to find a home with more of a backyard for the kids to play.
The asking price continued to drop steadily in the ensuing months until the home reappeared again this month.
Recent reports of the couple’s financial troubles—including a lawsuit for unpaid debts totaling $1.2 million—may be increasing the urgency to sell the home sooner rather than later.
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom, more than 8,600-square-foot house in the Contemporary Mediterranean style was built in 1993, and sits on about a half-acre lot with views of the L.A. skyline below. Another notable aspect of the home is that the pop legend Boy George is a friend of the couple and has spent quite a bit of time staying in the guest room.
Other highlights include a top-of-the-line theater room, wine room, home office, elevator, and sauna.

For her part, Dorit denies she’s having any money troubles.
“Everything is perfect, going good,” she said just a few days ago, according to Too Fab, while out on the town with PK and Boy George. “There is no money issue, no issue.”
Regardless of the motivation, Dorit and PK are definitely ready after all this time to move on from the posh pad overlooking L.A. And if a home buyer asks, perhaps Boy George might even be willing to keep on staying in the guest room.
