The comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell is trying again to sell her seriously nice home in Saddle River, NJ.

The asking price of $5,995,000 is 6% less than the $6,375,000 O’Donnell paid for the property in 2013. The mansion in the style of an English country manor has since been completely renovated and expanded “with no expense spared,” according to the listing details.

Just two years after purchasing the place, O’Donnell placed it back on the market for $7 million. The price dropped to $6,495,000 in 2016 and was then sliced even further in September 2018, to $6 million.

Now, nearly two years later, the listing has bounced back onto the market at the same price point.

Set on 5 acres, the six-bedroom home features a large motor court, a turreted entry, and a foyer with a curved staircase.

Along with a formal dining room and living room, the large kitchen has double islands and opens out to a glassed-in breakfast room. The master suite features a sitting room, huge walk-in closet, and en suite bath. The estate is gated for privacy, and is full of luxe amenities, like a family room with a pub-style bar, a screening room, and a separate guesthouse.

The manicured grounds include a pool with a grotto, waterfall, and spa, and a basketball court. For additional room, there’s a three-car garage, as well as an artist’s studio, which could be converted into another two-car garage.

In case of emergency, a gas generator can power the entire property.

The mansion is one of many in the extensive East Coast real estate portfolio that O’Donnell has been shuffling. In 2017, the New York native placed her Hudson River compound on the market for almost $11 million.

The five adjoining homes in Nyack, NY, about 40 minutes from Manhattan, had been purchased in a series of transactions from 2001 through 2008, for a total of $8.6 million. Since then, the main multifamily home has sold for $5.1 million, and two smaller abodes for $536,000 and $667,500, respectively. In addition, O’Donnell shed a West Palm Beach property for $5 million.

It seems that the comic has decided to trade in her country lifestyle for the city. In 2017, she picked up a midtown Manhattan penthouse for $8 million.

The Emmy-award winner has recently focused on TV projects. She starred in the series “SMILF” from 2017 to 2019. And she’s also starring in the upcoming HBO limited series “I Know This Much Is True,” based on Wally Lamb’s bestselling novel, with Mark Ruffalo.

Vicki Gaily of Special Properties, Division Brook Hollow Group, holds the listing.
