Former Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt has snagged a buyer for his Scottsdale, AZ, home. The desert dwelling sold earlier this month for $2,535,000.
The slugger and his wife, Amy Goldschmidt, purchased the gated estate in 2013 for $1.775 million, while he was starring in the cleanup spot for the Diamondbacks. Now that he’s moved on to the St. Louis Cardinals, the Texas native will make his off-season home elsewhere.
Located on a corner lot in the exclusive Silverleaf Community, the remodeled abode includes five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and 5,775 square feet.
“Paul and Amy were committed to updating their home with a timeless style,” says listing agent Laura Lester. “Amy was very involved with Vallone Design in selecting the finishes that worked for their family, but also gave the home a classic elegance.”
