Back in 2017, we filled you in on all the details of Drew Scott’s Honeymoon Home in the historic Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
In 2019, we told you how the stars of “Property Brothers” proceeded to buy the house right next door to Drew’s home. At the time, we speculated we might see Jonathan Scott move into the Mediterranean-style home once renovation work was complete.
Jonathan quickly shot down our theory that he bought the house for himself, but he did note, “We may have a project coming up.”
While the next-door neighbor project isn’t yet complete, one of the brothers has been hard at work on a different project in Hancock Park. Drew has “reimagined” a different house on the very same street as their other two purchases. His handiwork recently landed on the market for a whopping $7 million.

Originally built in 1924, the home last sold in October 2018 for $3,625,000. It was purchased by an LLC, and we can’t say for sure whether the brothers bought it themselves or if Drew was brought in by a spec buyer to reinvigorate the space for a profitable flip.
But we do know it sits on a rare double lot measuring almost half an acre in the Windsor Square area, so it’s the largest of the Hancock Park properties the Brothers have been involved with.
We also know that they cleverly retained the more picturesque original characteristics of the home, including the wrought-iron staircase, some hand-painted ceiling beams, and the glorious hand-painted barrel ceiling in the dining room.

Along with the vintage elements, Drew mixed in some smart modern amenities, including home automation and a solar energy system.
The home now features a gorgeous kitchen with all the latest appliances, including a commercial-sized refrigerator and freezer, an AGA stove with five burners, and a spacious island with an attached breakfast table.

The 5,550-square-foot home has five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One of the bedrooms is outfitted as a grand nursery that has a hidden attic playroom attached, and another bedroom has two charming window seats.

And if the magnificent main house isn’t enough, there’s also a fully permitted guesthouse. The smaller dwelling comes with its own private entrance, as well as a kitchen and laundry. The quarters are ideal for a family with a nanny or private assistant.

We haven’t seen this home renovation on one of the many “Property Brothers” HGTV series, but it’s probably only a matter of time before this home takes a turn in front of the cameras.
The listing details say the home is filled with more than $300,000 worth of custom furnishings, decor, and window treatments—all of which can be negotiated into the purchase price.
Perhaps they’ll combine this gorgeous makeover with the renovation of the home next door to Drew’s, and spin off a Hancock Park miniseries.
