The views are incredible: It overlooks a jungle canopy framed by wide-open ocean views. It’s the most sought-after part of the island to live on.”
“It averages 78 and 79 degrees year-round. It’s a little more temperate than other areas of the island,” he adds. “Haiku is the center for extreme water sports. Most of the technology for water sports has come out of Haiku.”
Lovers of extreme sports are drawn to Maui’s North Shore for mountain biking, water sports, hiking, fishing, and cycling—and, of course, world-class surfing. The area also attracts equestrians.
Potential buyers could include both the design-savvy and second-home owners from the U.S. Southwest and California.
