Hollywood producer Allison Shearmur’s former Los Angeles home has come on the market for $10.5 million. Shearmur, who died of lung cancer in 2018, left a real estate legacy in this “impeccably restored” Los Feliz home.

Built in 1927, the Italianate residence offers spectacular views, oversize rooms, and stylish living quarters. The chic space owned by Shearmur and her husband, film composer Ed Shearmur, was featured in House Beautiful magazine and the Rizzoli book “The Inspired Home: Nests of Creatives.”

Mauricio Umansky with The Agency represents the listing.

Measuring 11,576 square feet, the home has six bedrooms and nine baths. Featuring classical architecture and modern amenities, the home has exposed ceiling beams, arched windows, and built-in shelving throughout.

The elegant gallery foyer opens to a living room with a vaulted ceiling and marble fireplace. French doors open to a terrace overlooking the garden and the downtown skyline. An octagonal sunroom with French doors, a formal dining room with exposed beams, and a chef’s kitchen complete the main level.

Up a grand staircase, there’s a “monumental” master suite with dual showroom closets, one of which graced the pages of House Beautiful.

A lower level includes a tiered home theater, game room, gym with sauna, wine cellar, guest apartment, and staff quarters.

The half-acre grounds include a swimming pool and spa, along with landscaped gardens.

“This is a rare opportunity to own one of the most magnificent estates in Los Feliz,” the listing notes. The listing photos offer a glimpse of some of the producer’s touches, including the hand-painted wallpaper in the master bath and her magnificent dressing room with “linen-upholstered doors and nail-head-pattern detail.”

Shearmur, who was 54 when she died, produced such massive hits as “The Hunger Games” movies, the “Bourne” franchise, and “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” Ed Shearmur has scored dozens of films, including “Cruel Intentions,” “Wimbledon,” and “Charlie’s Angels.”
