With live sports on pause, sports fans were parched for the NFL draft. And although the draft this year was performed via an intricate televised conference call, it didn’t dull interest in the slightest.

The two big names in the draft were at football’s glamour position—both highly touted quarterbacks. Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow out of Louisiana State University was picked first overall by the Cincinnati Bengals, and University of Alabama star Tua Tagovailoa was selected by the Miami Dolphins, four picks later.

Now that these franchises have hitched their fortunes to these young signal callers, we wanted to step onto the field and offer our real estate playbook.

So where should Burrow and Tagovailoa buy? We huddled up and chose criteria. For both cities, we focused on newer homes that won’t require a ton of maintenance and are relatively close to the team’s training facilities. We also kept within a “modest” price range for athletes. Hey, there’s always room to upgrade to a true baller spread when a glorious second contract comes to fruition.

Plus, choosing a great-looking home in the coronavirus era is more important than ever. As we know from Twitter’s reaction to the home decor of players and coaches participating remotely in the draft, your living space does get noticed.

Join us as we diagram a few landing spots for two of the NFL’s most exciting new stars.
