NBA All-Star Anthony Davis has put his Westlake Village, CA, home on the market for $7,995,000, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The home last changed hands for $7.48 million in 2018. Amenities such as an indoor basketball court as well as an infinity pool with slides and waterfall weren’t enough to keep the Lakers star from vacating the posh pad—which seems like an ideal spot to quarantine during L.A.’s lockdown.

Built in 1996, the contemporary Mediterranean has been remodeled and expanded. Measuring 15,815 square feet, it has five bedrooms and 6.5 baths.

Along with a grand two-story entry, there’s a formal dining room, chef’s kitchen with double islands, state-of-the-art home theater, library, and gym. Outdoors, decks and a covered dining area offer space to entertain. There’s also a detached guesthouse.

Located in the guard-gated North Ranch Country Club Estates, the property comes with a “massive” infinity pool with dual slides, water features, and a spa.

The 2.33-acre property features low-maintenance turf, viewing decks, and a trampoline. The home is equipped with indoor and outdoor security cameras, as well as smart home technology and solar panels.

Davis, 27, will enter free agency this summer, prompting some to speculate the home sale could signal his intentions to leave the Lakers. But he does have more crash pads than just the one in Westlake Village.

Last year, according to TMZ, the center was dropping around $50,000 a month in rent for a 12,000-square-foot Bel Air mansion in a gated neighborhood. He’d been leasing the property since he was traded from the New Orleans Pelicans last summer.

A native of Chicago, Davis was selected by the New Orleans Hornets (now Pelicans) in 2012. In 2019, he was traded to the Lakers in a massive deal. The seven-time All-Star was also named the All-Star Game MVP in 2017, after setting an All-Star Game scoring record of 52 points.

Jordan Cohen, estates director with Re/Max One, holds the listing.
