Houston Rockets guard Ben McLemore has reduced the price of his sparkling black-and-white home in Tarzana, CA, to $2,799,000.

McLemore bought the renovated East meets West Coast, traditional-style home for $2.75 million in May 2018. This February, he put the five-bedroom, 6.5-bath home back on the market for $3,099,000.

He then lowered the price a couple of times with no luck. Now the listing details note that he is a “motivated seller” and that he’s dropped the price by nearly 10% in an effort to coax a buyer to come forward.

There had once been a two-bedroom, 1950s bungalow on the 0.39-acre lot. By the time McLemore purchased the place, though, it had been transformed into a sparkling, brand-new rebuild, measuring 5,300 square feet.

McLemore, 27, resuscitated his flagging NBA career with the Rockets this season and was a key member of the title-contending team’s rotation.

He flamed out in Sacramento, after being drafted by the team in the first round of the 2013 NBA Draft, and was teetering on the basketball precipice before launching with Houston in 2019.

Sam Plouchart of The Agency has the listing.
