‘Iso Joe’ Takes Another Shot: Joe Johnson Puts Atlanta Mansion Back on the Market

Eight years after his first shot, Joe Johnson is aiming to sell his massive mansion in Atlanta.

Known as “Iso Joe” for his skills on isolation plays, the former NBA sharpshooter has hoisted up another try at a successful sale. His huge, 13,860-square-foot home in the ATL is now on the market for $4.6 million.

Johnson initially listed this gated manse way back in 2012, for $4.7 million. This was shortly after he was traded from the Atlanta Hawks to the Brooklyn Nets.

With no buyer making a move, Johnson called a new play in 2014, and put the luxury home up for rent at a price of $25,000 a month. He must have found a taker, because the home vanished from the market six years ago, and there hasn’t been a peep since.

The seven-bedroom home is located in a cul-de-sac on a nearly 2-acre lot, just north of the coveted Buckhead neighborhood.

The property’s premium features include a modern kitchen, a large home theater with 12 comfy sofa chairs, hair salon, a fully stocked gym, two separate laundry rooms, and an infinity-edge gunite pool.

There’s also an elevator to shuttle a weary owner to the master suite after a long day’s work. I

The estate also comes equipped with a large five-car garage with two lifts.

Johnson, 38, made his NBA debut in 2001, and wound up spending 17 seasons in the league. A seven-time All-Star, he was a prolific shooter who made over $200 million in the course of his career.
