Longtime Bruins left wing Brad Marchand has scored a beautiful home in Boston for $3,550,000—a historic three-story brick residence in the heart of Charlestown.

Marchand and his wife, Katrina, bought the home in October. Katrina has a background in real estate, and Brad moonlights as a homebuilder in Nova Scotia, Canada, where they own a sprawling lakefront estate.

In this video, Brad takes viewers into his Nova Scotia garage, with hockey stick in hand, of course.

Katrina embraces designing her various properties and regularly shares her progress on Instagram.

So it’s no surprise the couple found an impeccable Boston property for their family to roost during the hockey season.

Katrina grew up in Bristol, RI, just about an hour from Boston. She married Marchand in 2015, bringing her son from a previous relationship and welcomed a daughter in 2017 with Brad.

The photogenic family’s new home was built in 1880 but has been updated throughout. It measures 4,800 square feet and has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

A kitchen, living room, and dining room are all located on the main floor. The second “garden” level includes the owner’s bed and bath suite, a fireplace, gym, mud hall, and roomy closet. The top level is dedicated to the great room with access to the rooftop deck. There are also three individual patio spaces, all with piped gas for heat.

Everything inside is muted, modern, and sophisticated, with custom millwork, built-ins, and adorable details throughout.

Drafted in 2006 by the Boston Bruins, Marchand made his debut in Boston in the 2009-10 season. The team went on to win the Stanley Cup the next season. He holds several franchise records, including regular-season overtime goals and most shorthanded goals in franchise history.

Playing for the Canadian national team, he scored the final goal win the World Cup of Hockey in 2016.
