Boogie Into Buying? You Must See This Dance Video Created to Sell Orange County Mansion

Over the years, we’ve seen a number of amusing videos designed to attract home buyers. However, the latest video featuring professional dancers cavorting through a $25 million mansion in Corona Del Mar, CA, waltzed away with our hearts.

It opens with an athletic couple flowing into contemporary dance moves throughout the bedroom area. You then begin to comprehend the very real possibility they could go flying off (or through) the transparent balcony railing.

Starring alums from “World of Dance” and “So You Think You Can Dance,” the video also features twins dancing in unison, some slick moonwalking in the kitchen, a young dancer making flopping down on the couch a high art form, and a booty shake that threatens to bring the entire house down.

The video has a strategy beyond giving potential buyers a rousing tour of this glorious mansion, says Tim Smith, the listing agent. All of the dancers are influencers, each with hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.

“Each dancer is required to post it on social media,” explains Smith. This has helped expose the home to over 10 million followers.

But how many of these followers are in the market for a luxe six-bedroom, 10-bath home in an elite area of Orange County?

Smith has an answer. He’s been down this viral path before—he produced a video last year inspired by the dance known as The Dougie. The $55 million “Duffy House” reaped the rewards of the creative video.

“It’s all about massive exposure,” says Smith. “The two buyers who bid against each other on the Duffy House were both from outside of California, and had heard about it from the video.” He now hopes lightning will strike twice.

Of course, this modern beach house has far more than accomplished dancers to recommend it. The three-story home measures in at a massive 9,609 square feet and features a roof deck.

It was designed by architect Chris Light so that nearly every room has an ocean view—even some of the bathrooms!

Luxurious features include an artistic steel staircase, spa/fitness center, wine room, game room with home theater, and Italian-made elevator.

The second level has four bedrooms, including a master wing with two baths and a private balcony. There are more sleeping quarters on the main level, including a guest suite and staff accommodations.

Yard space is slight, but decks wrap the house (one has a fire pit, others have heated lounge areas). Then there’s the roof deck, which can easily accommodate a decent-size party to toast the sunset.

The $25,000 cost to produce the video, in addition to the relative humiliation he suffered dancing alongside the pros in it, is well worth it.

“It’s the best house ever built in Corona Del Mar,” he says. “This is the best way of finding the right match.”
