The actress and singer Bette Midler has another talent to add to the list: real estate mogul. She recently sold her deluxe Manhattan penthouse apartment.

The star initially listed her longtime, three-story property for $50 million in 2019. And a pending sale has been “reported but not yet recorded,” according to property records.

So we’re not sure whether “The Divine Miss M” managed to secure the full asking price, but we’re sure she’s strutting away with a sizable haul.

When the luxury apartment first appeared on the market, the place topped our most expensive homes on realtor.com® that week.

The performer and her husband, Martin von Haselberg, purchased the Fifth Avenue place in 1996, for $3.5 million, according to the New York Post.

Located on floors 15, 16, and 17, the 7,000-square-foot, three-floor unit is actually two apartments combined. The architect Frederick Fisher and Partners handled interior work, and the exterior was landscaped by Sawyer Berson.

Now empty nesters, the couple shared with the New York Times that they had decided to downsize to a smaller apartment in the city.

The two leave behind quite a showstopper. The 14-room penthouse residence includes views of Central Park, the reservoir, and the Manhattan skyline.

Picturesque terraces are located off the living room, dining room, and the top-level library, for a total of 3,000 square feet of outdoor space, a huge selling point for city dwellers.

With pandemic restrictions beginning to lift, and the weather warming, the outdoor areas offer a myriad of entertaining possibilities.

The swanky setup includes a private elevator, curved staircase, a double-wide living room, dining area, and eat-in kitchen with marble counters and custom cabinets.

An office and a bathroom are also housed on the main level. On the lower level, a family room and six bedrooms fill the floor, along with a picture-window master suite complete with a dressing room and a fireplace. There are also 6.5 bathrooms, a laundry room, and a private home office.

The top floor is a dramatic showpiece. This level features a library with a 13-foot ceiling, fireplace, floor-to-ceiling bookcases, and windows with views of Central Park and the reservoir. The space opens out to a landscaped garden with views in all directions.

Built in 1925, and designed by the renowned architect Emery Roth in the neo-Renaissance style, the full-service building offers privacy, security, and amenities such as additional storage and a gym.

The award-winning star of stage and screen didn’t let the pandemic slow her down. She starred last year in the HBO special “Coastal Elites.” She also wrote a children’s book, “The Tale of the Mandarin Duck.” She’s reportedly set to reprise her witchy role in the sequel to the spooky movie “Hocus Pocus.”

John Burger of Brown Harris Stevens holds the listing.
