This week’s list of the oldest homes to land on Realtor.com® includes a cavalcade of Colonials. Some have been renovated with flashy makeovers and expansions, while others await their turn at a remodel. One element that these homes all have in common? They’re all positioned on some of the prettiest pieces of property available.
As a testament, the week’s oldest home dates back to 1683 and sits on 4 acres in Massachusetts filled with mature trees and rolling hills, selected by the original owner, Deacon Cornelius Waldo. The listing says that it was the second home ever built in the town of Tyngsborough.
There’s also the Kenney compound on Martha’s Vineyard. It has 15 pristine acres, which surround the original main house, built back in 1719. Or an incredible stone farmhouse in New York, which was stylishly reimagined and is surrounded by 2.2 lush acres of heaven.
