Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Selling Enticing Encino Home for $16.75M

Just two years after picking up a modern mansion in Encino, CA, the pop star Joe Jonas and his wife, the actress Sophie Turner, have listed the property for $16.75 million, the New York Post reports.

The couple purchased the brand-new build for $14.1 million and are looking for a healthy upside in the sale. It’s currently the most expensive home for sale in the tony town, where the current median list price is $1.2 million.

While living in these divine digs, the couple seemed to truly relish their spacious spread, which offers 15,000 square feet of living space on almost an acre. The actress posted a throwback photo from her pregnancy, enjoying a dip in the pool with one of her dogs. She and Joe welcomed their first child in July 2020.

Turner also snapped a pic of Jonas with a bowl of pasta in their kitchen, which she shared on Instagram with the caption: “One of the many benefits of marrying a good italian boy… @joejonas.”

Located in the secluded enclave of Royal Oaks, the upscale abode has been extensively upgraded by the owners, who added a spa, gym, a surround-sound system, a state-of-the-art theater, and a security system.

The luxurious layout is outfitted with designer touches such as European cabinetry, high ceilings, and high-end light fixtures. Walls of glass and oversized sliding doors in the main living area open outside, for a true indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

The open-plan main space features a spacious living room with a fireplace, casual dining area, and a kitchen with an extra-long island with bar seating.

Upstairs, the master suite features a large balcony, walk-in closet with an eye-catching atrium, and a bathroom large enough to include lounge chairs, as well as dual sinks and a separate soaking tub.

The outdoor space is equally impressive. Alongside the main home is a lap pool with spa and patio. The landscaped grounds also include a putting green and outdoor projector.

The two-bedroom guesthouse doubles as an entertainment center, complete with an aquarium, cigar humidor, kegerator, fog machine, disco lights, and DJ station.

Joe’s place is close to a home owned by his younger brother, Nick Jonas, and Nick’s wife, the actress Priyanka Chopra. Nick and Priyanka purchased a nearby mansion for $20 million at around the same time that Joe purchased this home, Mansion Global reported.

Before he bought the property in Encino and married Turner, Jonas had picked up a modern farmhouse in Sherman Oaks in 2016 for $3.7 million. After he listed it in August 2018 for $4.25 million, the home sold several months later, for $3.7 million.

Jonas, 31, a former Disney Channel star, became an international superstar with his siblings in the band the Jonas Brothers.

In addition, he’s served as a guest judge for “The Voice” competition show, and also as a coach on the Australian version. He also fronts the pop group DNCE.

Turner earned recognition for her role as Sansa Stark in the HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones,” and more recently starred as Jean Grey/Phoenix in the “X-Men” movies. The two tied the knot in Las Vegas in May 2019.
