The singer, actress, and talk-show host Willow Smith has a new spot to whip her hair. She’s purchased a scenic Malibu, CA, retreat for $3.1 million, Variety reported.
The daughter of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith picked up the cool coastal pad last month. Completed in 2011, the single-story abode contains four bedrooms and four bathrooms with 2,984 square feet, on just shy of a half-acre.
The ocean-view home previously changed hands in 2013 for $2.6 million, realtor.com® records show. The place had been listed last spring for $3.5 million, before being taken off the market. A previous listing notes that the property had also been available to lease for $18,000 a month.
The home sold in early August, and is Smith’s first home purchase, according to The Real Deal.
The modern build offers glorious Pacific Ocean and mountain views on a private cul-de-sac.
With an open floor plan and designed with every fine detail in mind, this sustainable space was built to LEED energy-efficiency standards, with solar power, energy-efficient appliances, and a gray-water recycling system.

Smith is not far from her parents, who own a massive 150-acre estate in the hills of Calabasas.
Still a teenager, Smith is already a highly accomplished star. In 2007, she made her acting debut in the blockbuster film “I Am Legend,” with her father in the lead role.
Her debut single, “Whip My Hair,” hit No. 11 on the Billboard Top 100 chart in 2010. Last year, she released her third studio album, “Willow.”
Smith, her mother, and her maternal grandmother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, host a web talk show, Red Table Talk, which launched on Facebook Watch in 2018. It has been nominated this year for a Daytime Emmy Award.
