A townhouse at 38 Prince St. has hit the market as a $65,000-a-month rental.

The five-story home was originally the west wing of the convent of Old Saint Patrick’s church.

At a roomy 9,000 square feet, it comes with seven bedrooms, three fireplaces and an elevator.

The townhouse was formerly owned by Francis Greenburger’s Time Equities, which bought a building at 34 Prince St. for $32 million in 2014, then subdivided it into three properties (with the addresses of 38 Prince St., 233 Mott St. and 235 Mott St.) and subsequently sold the 38 Prince St. townhouse for $21 million last year.

The listing brokers are Brandon Trentham and Yoon Hoshue, of Compass.

Furniture, fine art and decorative items belonging to the late interior designer Mario Buatta is slated for auction at Sotheby’s later this month.

Known as the “Prince of Chintz,” his clients included Mariah Carey and Barbara Walters.

His former home and separate office maisonette at 120 E. 80th St. are also on the market for a combined $4.88 million with listing broker Jenny Lenz, of Dolly Lenz Real Estate.
