The Los Angeles Rams wide receiver DeSean Jackson has tossed two homes on the market.

One is a mansion in Tarzana, CA, that he’s owned for years and which recently popped back on the market for $2 million. On the East Coast, the former Philadelphia Eagles star is also selling a Philly-adjacent home in Moorestown, NJ.

Selling in SoCal

During his first stint with the Eagles in 2013, the Los Angeles native purchased a nest in Tarzana for $1.65 million.

The pass catcher initially tested the SoCal real estate market in 2015, when he made the home available for $1.8 million. He had possibly soured on the space after a scary home invasion, as TMZ reported at the time.

But the home failed to attract a buyer five years ago, so the residence went onto the luxury rental market in 2016—initially for $8,500 a month, and then for $8,000 a month the following year.

Now it appears that the Pro Bowler, who recently signed with the Rams, is really ready to move on from this Valley home.

Located behind double gates, the four-bedroom, six-bathroom traditional is situated in “prime South Tarzana,” the listing notes. It was built in 1951, and its modernized interiors include 3,837 square feet of living space.

The layout offers a living room with vaulted, beamed ceilings, a fireplace, and hardwood floors. The gourmet open kitchen features Carrara marble counters, Viking appliances, custom cabinets, a breakfast nook, and a large pantry.

In addition, the floor plan features three bedrooms on the main floor. The upper level is dedicated to the master suite, which boasts a large walk-in closet, an office, a glam bathroom with an oversized shower, and dual vanities. A spacious balcony overlooks the backyard.

On the main level, French doors lead out to the backyard, which features a heated pool, spa, and outdoor kitchen. Other notable amenities include a family room and a projector room.

Set behind lush landscaping for premium privacy, the large parcel also includes a separate studio, a two-car garage, and a circular drive.

Lee Mintz of Compass holds the listing.

Moorestown, NJ, mansion

On the East Coast, the former Eagle joins the exodus of players flying away from the Philly area. After an injury-plagued second stint with the Eagles, Jackson was released in February.

His New Jersey mansion went on the market a couple months ago for $1,425,000, and is already pending sale, the Philly Voice reported. Melissa Young with BHHS Fox & Roach Moorestown holds the listing.

Jackson follows the Eagles’ former head coach Doug Pederson and the quarterback Carson Wentz, who also recently left the team and put their nearby homes up for sale.

The wide receiver purchased this “Ritz Carlton-inspired home” in 2019. He paid $1.35 million for the place and scored a discount. The home had been listed for several months, with a price tag of $1,485,000.

Built in 1995, the center-hall, modern Colonial estate has been rehabbed from top to bottom.

The gated property provides plenty of privacy. Inside, a grand two-story foyer leads to a curved staircase. The 4,754-square-foot layout includes an oversized dining room, living room, bar, and fireplace.

The chef’s kitchen, at the back, runs the length of the home, and includes a large island with a farmhouse sink, Wolf range, pot filler, and white cabinetry. It adjoins a casual glassed-in dining area, which opens to a rear deck.

Upstairs, the swanky master bedroom comes with radiant heat floors, a wine bar, enormous walk-in closet, and bathroom, with a rain shower, and stand-alone tub.

On the basement level, the finished space includes a theater room, lounge, kitchenette, bath, and game room, and opens out to the backyard. On 2 acres, the fenced grounds include a pool and spa, pictured in Jackson’s Instagram feed.

Now 34, the wideout was a standout in college at the University of California at Berkeley, and was a consensus All-American in 2006 and 2007. He was drafted by the Eagles in 2008, and also had stints with Washington, as well as  the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The three-time Pro Bowler signed a new contract with the Los Angeles Rams last month.
